Leather Tanning Manufacturing Industry

A wide range of liquid wastes, sludge and solids can be generated as a result of leather tanning. The problems associated with the treatment of these wastes are caused by poor degradability and the coloring of the wastes. In addition, the presence of chrome is a big problem in the treatment of wastes produced by leather tanning.

3V Green Eagle has all the required technologies and expertise to treat the wastes from leather tanning in the best manner, as well as being experienced at treating and recovering essential compounds. Our TOP® wet oxidation treatment is particularly effectively at reducing color, allowing a decolorized effluent to be generated. Chrome can be oxidized and separated or even recovered if it is present in high concentrations and if it is technically and economically viable.
